Sally O’Neil (aka The Fit Foodie) is a health and lifestyle blogger, commercial food photographer and stylist, author, clinical nutrition student and speaker.

A brit who now calls Australia home, Sally inspires others to adopt a healthy lifestyle via her beautifully crafted website and blog, The-fit-foodie.com and social media channels. Off the back of the success of her blog, Sally published her first book, Love Move Eat, with Random House in 2017 (available in print & ebook). The cookbook contains 70+ delicious recipes as well as practical tips on how to maintain our health and wellness outside the kitchen.

Her second book was released in Australia and the UK in September 2019 with Murdoch books titled The Fit Foodie Meal Prep Plan, and is now also available in  Germany, USA and France.

Sally has worked with brands including Sony, Woolworths and FitBit, and written for publications including 9Honey, Body + Soul, Whimn, Nourish Magazine, Women’s Health, Huff Post Australia. As a food photographer and stylist she has worked with brands including MenuLog, Soul Origin, Opera Bar, and BWS.

In 2014 Sally launched Fit Mixes, a DIY protein ball mix kit. A delicious alternative to processed snacks, and the millennial version of a Betty Crocker at home cake mix, Sally disrupted the market with her passion for nutrition with these pre-mixed packets of goodness. In March 2019 Sally made the decision to close the business to focus on other projects.
