Amber Basanovic is a content creator, food enthusiast and mum of two who loves sharing her homemade meals, home projects and life in the paddock on a small acreage near Bundaberg.

Five years ago, Amber and her husband Kresi moved from NSW to Queensland for a fresh start. Together for 14 years and recently celebrating a decade of marriage, they’re creating a home for their daughters, Mila and Lucia and tackling home projects side by side. Her audience is brought along the journey with Amber bringing home animals Kresi insists they don’t need, before watching him fall in love with them and build their enclosures.

Amber found her love of food through motherhood. Her kitchen is now a place for learning, making things from scratch and feeding the people she loves. She loves finding simple ways to make more thoughtful choices for her family, from the food she cooks to the products she uses at home and sharing the things she’s tried and loved along the way.

Her content brings together the beauty, humour and hands on work it takes to build a beautiful life for her family.

If she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll find her in the paddock caring for her two Highland cows, 30+ chickens, two ducks, two cats, one dog, a goose and two busy beehives.
